Jack Norton Hoskins, 91, of Melbourne, Florida passed away December 13, 2015 at William Childs Hospice House.
Mr. Hoskins served state side in the United States Army during WWII as an MP. Following his discharge in the Army, he began working for the FBI as an instructor for self-defense training. In 1950, Mr. Hoskins enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was stationed at Showa Air Force Base during the Korean Conflict and was in charge of the FEAF dog training center. He retired from the Air Force while stationed at Patrick Air Force and served in the Civil Service working with the Air Force in Security at the Air Force Eastern Test Range. In the mid 1970's, Mr. and Mrs. Hoskins were the owners of JEMS, Inc in Melbourne, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mae Hoskins; son, Harry (Charla) Hoskins of Melbourne; three grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
A gathering of family and friends will be held 2-3pm, Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne.
