Jack Vincent Hayes, 82, passed on to Glory on Friday, May 10, 2013. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and especially his loving family. Jack was born in Elkview, WVA on August 22, 1930 to the late Owen and Nina Hayes. He had seven siblings who preceded him in death. He served in the WV Air National Guard and the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was sent to England, where he met the Love of His Life, Yvonne. They were married in 1953. Returning to the USA, they raised three boys, Gene, Bill and Sean. Jack worked with Pan American at Cape Kennedy and Trinity Towers as an Air Conditioning Tech. Jack retired in 1996 and enjoyed time with his grandchildren, Courtney, Nina, Lesa and great-grandchildren, Nathan, Luke, Hunter, Troy and his "daughters" Cindy, Jennifer, Connie and Monette. Jack loved collecting and fishing. All who knew him will miss his common sense, home spun humor and appreciation for his family and country. RIP Dad!
