Irene Cole DiMinno, 98, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 16, 2023. She was born Billie Irene Cole, on March 2, 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky to Porter Cole and Marietta Ragland. She attended Arthur Jordan Conservatory of Music in Indianapolis and Central Connecticut State College in New Britain, Connecticut where she obtained a Masters Degree in music education. She married Arthur DiMinno on December 18, 1958 in New Britain. She had varied careers in sales, real estate and music education and  because of her passion for music and talent and skill as a singer, performed as a soprano soloist in many church choirs and as a lead actor in many local theater companies in Connecticut where she lived until retiring to Florida. She is survived by her children Adele, David and Marc, grandchildren Benjamin and Lily, and great grandchildren Sylvie and Francis.
