Irene "Renie" Helen Davis, daughter of the late William Mulherin and Teresa Mulherin Caignon died August 6th, 2013 at West Melbourne Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Norman Paul Davis and step daughter, Barbara Bradley, grandson, Kevin Walterson and great-grandson, Caleb James White. She is survived by her sons, Paul Adrien Davis (Cynthia Lynn) of Phenix City, AL and Greg Minor (Debbie) of Palm Bay, FL; daughters, Patrice Marie Davis of Titusville, FL and Wilma Stratonberger (James) of Detroit, MI; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; brothers, William James Mulherin (Nancy) of both Washingtonville, NY and Palm Springs, CA and James Edward Mulherin (Jean) of Somers Point, NJ; half-sister, Margaret Teresa Reeves of Millville, NJ and half-brother, Joseph Lucien Caignon (Sandy) of Delaware and many cousins. Renie taught Sunday school for about 45 years, which was most at First Assembly of God, Melbourne, where she was a member since 1968. She also was President of the Women's Missionary Council for 20 years as well as serving in other offices. Renie served in many capacities of the Human Rights Committee including Chairperson of the state wide Human Rights Committee where she aided the clients of the Department of Children and Families "formally HRS". Memorial service will be held at Melbourne First Assembly of God, 801 Masterson Street, Melbourne, FL on September 14th at 1:00 PM. The family is requesting donations to First Assembly in lieu of flowers.
