Hilda Hart, 86 of Melbourne, FL was called to heaven to be with our Lord, on April 5, 2015. She was born in Washington, DC to Edna Ayres and Antone Barnish. She later resided in Boonton, NJ. She was the beloved wife of Robert H. Hart, Sr., married May 13, 1949. They lived in Morris Township, NJ, until retiring to FL in 1995. She was predeceased by her sister, Doris Behrens.
She is survived by her four wonderful children: Christine (Olav) Christiansen; Robert H. Hart, Jr., (Rosemarie); Lorraine (John) Washington; and Linda (Pete) Ketch. She is also survived by her brothers Jerry Barnish (Carol); George Barnish; and sister, Sharon (Glenn) Winkler. Also surviving are sisters-in-law Betty Palmieri and Marlena Behrens and brother-in-law Kenneth Hart (Sally). Hilda had 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren who she loved with all her heart. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
Hilda was a remarkable woman who loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was loved by all who met her. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 15th, 2015 at the Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 3050 N. Highway A1A, Indialantic, FL 32903.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, c/o Azan Shrine Center, 1591 Eau Gallie Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935.
