Helen F. Ambrose, 89, departed this life and was graciously taken to heaven on Tuesday, December 19, 2017.  Born in Middlesex, North Carolina on August 14, 1928, Helen was the child of Willie and Etta Ferrell.  While working in Washington DC for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Helen met and later married her devoted husband of 59 years, Joseph Ambrose, who preceded her in death. Helen was a long time resident of Melbourne who enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family.

Memories will be cherished by her beloved children, Cindy Skinner (Roger), Joseph Ambrose (Amy), and Teresa Puterbaugh; grandchildren, Travis (Jami), Aimee (Craig), Shelby, Eric (Allison), and Kaitlyn; great-grand children, Easton and Elijah.

Family will greet friends from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017, at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a memorial service to follow at 5 p.m.
