HP "Bud" Coltrane Passed away Tuesday morning in his Melbourne home, he was 74

Bud was born and raised in Miami Florida before enlisting in the US Air Force. During this time, Bud played as a jazz musician. His Duel MOS at Patrick Air Force Base were the upright and electric bass. After the Air Force, Bud earned his First Class Radio/Telephone certification that lead to his desire to pursue his career in advanced electronics. After his enlistment in the Air Force, Bud moved to Palm Bay to work for Harris Corp as a Semiconductor Test Development Engineer.

Buds early hobbies were building RC airplanes, Motorcycles and Music. He also played upright and electric bass in several area bands for many, many years.

He met his current wife Cindy at Harris, and after a short engagement, they have been married for 38 years.

Bud is survived by 2 brothers, 6 children, 30 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and 1 more than devoted mother in law.
