Mr. Hal Brite Caldwell was born April 18, 1931, near Newton in Catawba County, NC. He was the son of the late Clyde H. and Lily Black Caldwell. Hal went to heaven at age 86 on February 15, 2018 in Melbourne, Florida. Hal was an electrician, mechanic, and auto bodyworker during his career for over 60 years. Hal was the loving husband of the late Mary Wolff Caldwell. He was preceded in death by his daughter Catherine, and brothers Reid and Hayes Caldwell. Hal is survived by his daughter, Beth, son-in -law a Pete Prawl, and grandchild, Katie Prawl; as well as many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, gardening, antique automobiles, RV camping , and bowling. He was a member of Ascension Catholic Church for over 50 years.
