Obituary

Gloria Scoble, 86, of Palm Bay, Florida, passed away on April 13, 2025, while in hospice care at Cape Canaveral Hospital.

Born in London, England, on May 8, 1938, she was the daughter of Ann Mary and David Kingstree. After completing high school, Gloria moved to Washington, D.C., where she met and married Derek Scoble.

A devout Roman Catholic, Gloria was a dedicated member of Ascension Catholic Church for 44 years. As the wife of a U.S. Air Force serviceman, she traveled the world, supporting Derek's career while raising their children with love and strength.

Gloria took great pride in her faith, her English heritage, her family, and in becoming a U.S. citizen after living in the United States for 60 years.

She spent several years working as a teacher's aide at Ascension Catholic School, a role that brought her great joy and fulfillment.

Gloria was predeceased by her beloved husband, Derek, in 2022; her parents; and her dear brother, James King.

She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (James) Condame; her son, Kevan (Janna) Scoble; her loving brother, Bruce Kingstree; grandchildren, Samantha, Meghan, Michael, Savannah, and Sebastian; and great-grandchildren, Jameson and Abrianna.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, Florida, followed by burial at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery in North Mims, Florida.
