Glenroy William Weimar (Nickname: Willie, Dad, and Pop), passed at 6 AM on November 10, 2014 at home in Melbourne, Fl. His wife of 57 years, Bernadette Weimar, son, Glenroy Weimar, Jr and daughter Wendi Weimar and dear family friend Nancy Fullem were by his side awas his dog Jill. He succumb to cardio-renal failure at the age of 83. Born in 1931 in Newark, NJ to Agnes Erble Weimar and William Valentine Weimar. He pursued a career as an engineer at General Electric for 35 years where he was a major contributor to the Polaris rocket program, Space Shuttle Project, and the Electronics Maintenance School for the US Navy. Having lived all of the country, he took greatest pride in his marriage and his children. All who met him found him to be warm, pleasant and wickedly funny. He remains well loved by his wife, children, daughter in law Carol, and grandchildren Zachary and Marcus Weimar who are continuing the traditional of service to the country, as a Senior Airman and US Army Medic respectively.
