1932 - 2018

Gerry waged a valiant war against Emphysema (COPD) for many years. It gradually became harder and harder for her to do many of the everyday things we all take for granted, and she succumbed on December 26, 2018. She is no longer battling, and all those who spent time with her will attest to the fact that she never complained. She loved life and appreciated every single day, which is why there will be a "Celebration of Life" in her honor held on March 16 ^th , at 3 p.m., at the Pavilion of Villas at Newfound Harbor, near the house where she lived for the past 22 years. She shared the house with her husband Frank for 16 of those years, when he passed in 2012, after 61 years of marriage. She told everyone she married the love of her life, and that while there might have been some bad times, they were more than overshadowed by the good.

She is greatly missed by her friends and family.

Gerry was a consummate nature lover, so the Pavilion is a perfect spot to remember her – on any day there you can see Great Blue Herons and Ibis scouting for a meal. She loved birds and plants of all kinds.
