Gerald T. Ida, 70, passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 in Melbourne, FL with his family by his side. He was born August 1, 1942 in Puyallup, WA to Tatsuo and Sally (Kataoka) Ida.
Gerald spent a large portion of his life as a carpenter. He was also a licensed cosmetologist, an avid reader and devoted hours of study to many areas of interest including Buddhist philosophy. He was a perennial supporter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Barbara and his children, Justine and Samuel Ida.
Family will hold private services at a later date.
