George Ronald Jacobs, "Ron or Ronnie", of Palm Bay Florida, previously of Fishersville Virginia,
passed away unexpectedly Friday April 9th, 2021 at his residence. He is now in the presence of
his Lord and Savior.
He was born to the late Raymond and Anna Jacobs in New York City, New York on June 2,
1938.
Ron is survived by his wife Nancy Stevenson whom he married on August 26, 1956. Together
they had 6 children. Bonnie Jacobs of Fishersville, Virginia (deceased); survived by Darlene
Grainger and husband Gean of Waynesboro, Virginia; Jeanette Jacobs of Palm Bay, Florida;
Bobbie Miller of Greenville, Virginia; Ronnie Jacobs and wife Susan of Swoope, Virginia; and
Danny Jacobs of Moneta, Virginia. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; Michael Jacobs,
Robert Duke, Alyssa Duke, Cody Jacobs and wife Danielle, Corbyn Miller, Zachary Jacobs,
Haylee Jacobs, Anna Grainger, Samuel Jacobs, Owen Jacobs, and a number of
great-grandchildren.
Ron had one brother, Raymond "Buddy" Jacobs (deceased); and two sisters, Annette O'Connell
of Palm Bay, Florida; and Kathy Sheridan of Mount Solon, Virginia. He is also survived by a
niece Kim Dexter of Palm Bay, Florida and many additional nieces and nephews.
Ron was also blessed with many treasured friendships in Florida, Virginia, New York, and
elsewhere.
The family is planning a Memorial Service in Virginia at a later date. Details of service
forthcoming.
