George A. Gibbard born November 15, 1930 in Pleasant Valley Michigan passed away peacefully on March 20, 2014 in Melbourne, Florida. His loving daughter was at his bedside as he made his way home. He is survived by his wife of sixty years Barbara Gibbard of Melbourne, Florida, son Mitchell Gibbard of Bellaire, Michigan, and daughter Teresa (Gibbard) Curley of Monroe, Michigan. Mr. Gibbard was a veteran of the Army Air Corp., and served thirty-two proud years for the Michigan State Police.
