Genevieve "Tiny" Notarnicola

Tiny passed away in the loving home she created surrounded by family and beloved friends on May 7, 2015 after along courageous battle with cancer. She was 71 years old.

The daughter of the late Lloyd Greer and Genevieve Kaminski Greer was born September 9, 1943 in Walker Valley, NY. Tiny was a former Sunday school teacher at the Walker Valley Methodist Church, one of the founders of the Shawangunk Snowmobile & Rescue Club as well as a safety instructor, a volunteer for the Brevard County Meals on Wheels program and a true inspiration to other cancer survivors. Tiny considered crocheting her therapy and made beautiful blankets which many of us proudly possess. She and her husband Al owned the 1776 Colonial Inn Restaurant in Pine Bush, NY for 38 years. She considered her employees and many customers part of her family. Her greatest achievement was being a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, wife and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Al Notarnicola of Barefoot Bay, FL; Children, daughter Lori G. Torchio and husband Adam of Pine Bush, NY, son John L. Scott and partner Pierre Pham of Los Angeles, CA, daughter Greer J. Scott and partner Ondrea Sharp of Walker Valley, NY, daughter Lori Middaugh and husband Roy of Slatington, PA, daughter Jodi Notarnicola and husband Bart Panesa of New Paltz, NY; Grandchildren, Rebecca G. Manpel and fianc George Watson of Circleville, NY, Nichole R. Torchio and partner Orlando Sanchez of Milford, PA, Brittaney L. Torchio of Pine Bush, NY, Darien Middaugh of Camp Lejume, NC, Alexis Middaugh of Slatington, PA; Great Grandson, Logan A. Watson of Circleville, NY; Sister, Priscilla "Bun" Haskin of Walker Valley, NY; Brother, Lloyd Greer of Greenfield Park, NY; Sister-in-Law, Mary Greer of Walker Valley, NY; Beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and an enormous amount of friends.

She was predeceased by Parents, Lloyd and Genevieve "Gene" Greer of Walker Valley, NY; Brother, Allen "King" Greer of Walker Valley, NY; Sister-in-Law, Carol Greer of Walker Valley, NY.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Health First Cancer Treatment Center and Holmes Hospital in Melbourne, FL for their love and care during her battle; A special thank you to Dr. Joseph McClure and Dr. Anil Dhople of Health First Cancer Treatment Center, Melbourne, FL.
