Gary Lee Youmans, born in Elmira , NY on December 2, 1942, passed away on February 13, 2017 in Palm Bay, FL.He is survived by his 10 children, numerous grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews and his siblings Eileen Gee, Stan Youmans, Jerry Youmans, and Bucky Youmans. He was proceeded in death by his parents, five of his siblings, and his wife, Carol.
Gary proudly served in the US Army for 16 years to include two tours in Vietnam. He and his wife, Carol, enjoyed serving the children of the Ellicott School District in Colorado for many years.
A Celebration of Life is planned in Palm Bay, FL on February 18, 2017 at Castaways Point Park. Interment of Ashes with full military honors at Woodlawn Cemetary in Elmira, NY will be scheduled at a later date, where he & his wife, Carol, will be put to final rest together. Celebration of Life is planned on February 18, 2017 from 2-6 pm at Castaways Point Park in Palm Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) at www.DAV.org.
