Gary Haynes Hardin

Gary Haynes Hardin, 76, passed away on September 18, 2026, at his daughter’s home in Melbourne, Florida. Born in Bristol, Virginia, Gary will be remembered with love by his family and friends.

Gary found joy in playing and listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and sharing good food. These simple pleasures reflected the warmth and connection he valued throughout his life.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer Hardin and Charity Dawley, and his three grandchildren, Casey Hardin, Kali Perez, and Jake Dawley. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary’s memory will live on through the music he loved, the meals and gatherings he enjoyed, and the many cherished moments he shared with those closest to him.

A graveside service will be held at noon on October 3, 2026, at Mountain View Cemetery in Bristol, Virginia.
