Frances Mary (Cleary) Tucker, 74, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at her Melbourne, FL. home surrounded by her devoted and loving husband, Burton H. Tucker; her daughter, Theresa A. (Mark) Bonney of CT; her sons, Steven T. Tucker, of ME and Gregory S. (Cynthia) Tucker of Palm Bay, FL.

Born on November 21, 1937, in Springfield, MA., she was the devoted daughter of Francis M. and Winifred A. (Pounch) Cleary.

Frances, a devoted wife and mother, grew up on Hungry Hill in Springfield, MA, graduating from Cathedral High School class of 1956.

While working in Washington, D.C., she met her husband who was on active duty in the U.S. Navy. They married July 21, 1959 and recently celebrated 53 years of marriage.

While following her husband's career, Frances resided in California, South Carolina, Maryland and Massachusetts, and since 2002, lived in Melbourne, FL. During her life she worked as a telephone operator for Geico, and AT&T, as a corporate specialist for national reservations for Quality Hotels, as well as for Gorton's of Gloucester and Seafood Kitchens.

Along with her husband, three children, son-in-law and daughter-in-law, she is survived by 4 Grandchildren, 5 Step-Grandchildren, 3 Step-Great-Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews throughout California, Nevada and New York. She was predeceased by her older sister, Patricia A. (Cleary) Sanders and brother-in-law, David of CA.

At her request, a private memorial service will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield, MA. In lieu of flowers and to honor her love of animals, it is kindly requested that donations be made to the Central Brevard Humane Society, 2010 Cox Road, Cocoa, FL 32909.
