Fern Irene Turner-Heffernan, 66, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, August 22, 2012. Fern was born on June 29, 1946 in Syracuse, NY to the late Lyle F. and Eleanora G. Heagle (Dibble). She was a graduate of N. Syracuse High School, class of 1964. She had an abiding faith in God and loved her family more than herself.

She was married to her beloved husband, Gary Turner, until his death in 2000. Fern assisted in his automotive business as the office manager for over 25 years.

In 2003, Fern married Tim Heffernan, Jr.

Survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Suzy) and Ken (Sherry) Turner; grandsons, Darek, Devan and Gary Turner; and her second family, husband, Tim Heffernan, Jr.; children, Karen (Mark) Roecker, Kim Kanazeh and Tim Heffernan, III; grandchildren, Adriana, Amanda, Christopher, Christian and Cody. She shared a true zest for life and will be in our hearts forever.

Family will receive friends from 6PM to 8PM on Saturday, August 25 and 6PM to 8PM on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at Davis - Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Monday, August 27, 2012 at Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne, FL.
