Evelyn Mull passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 20, 1012 in Malabar, Florida with her family by her side. Born on April 1, 1927 to William and Mary Ahearn in New York City - she was one of many siblings. Evelyn met her husband, Joseph A. Mull, Jr. in New York City and together they raised their children. Evelyn worked as a secretary for the Martin Luther King Health Center in the Bronx for 18 years. In 1984 she retired and moved with her husband, Joe to Barefoot Bay, Florida. Everyone who knew Evelyn immediately loved her - her blue eyes would twinkle as she flashed a big smile to all. She was a caring and giving soul. Evelyn will be remembered as one of the kindest and sweetest people you could ever meet. She was the biggest cheerleader at all sporting events, dance recitals and any other function her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would participate in. Survived by her children; Barbara Parker (Tony), Veronica Houghton (Keith), Joseph Mull (Linda), Candy Tabussi (Kevin), Charles Mull (Dorothy) and Donna Szalanski (Rich); grandchildren, Barbara Sells (Chris), Catherine Owens (Buddy); Evelyn Mull (JC); Jared (Mary) Houghton; Keith Houghton; Sarah Houghton, Nicole Janesky, Michael Mull, Veronica Houghton, Rachael Szalanski, Amber Szalanski; and great - grandchildren, Michael Sells, Deanna Sells, Matthew Sells, Michaela Schneider, Lexi Sells, Bailey Hooker, Lauren Janesky, Colton Hooker, Jaylen Houghton; sister, Margaret Paul and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Evelyn is predeceased in death by her husband, Joe of almost 50 years. A Celebration of Evelyn's Life will be held at a later date.
