Eric Jason Mullen, age 46, passed unexpectedly in his sleep the morning of January 13, 2020 in his home in Barefoot Bay, Florida. Eric was born in King George, VA to Eugene H. Mullen of King George, VA and Janice A. Hawthorne of Micco, FL.  Eric graduated from King George High School and moved to Florida in 2010.

Eric worked most his life as a building contractor but truly loved his job as a mental health technician at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, FL. Eric enjoyed going deep sea fishing and riding motorcycles during his off times.

Eric is survived by daughters Samantha M. Mullen, 22, and Hannah M. Mullen 20, his son Bryce A. Mullen, 18 as well as his granddaughter Vera Lynn, 4.  He is also survived by his mother and stepfather Janice A. and Woodrow T. Hawthorne, his father and stepmother Eugene H. and Diane R. Mullen, his brother Michael S. Mullen, sister Lisa A. Roberts, brother William D Hawthorne and his fiancé Jodie Keller.

Formal services will be held at Potomac Baptist Church in King George VA on Saturday January 25,2020 at 11 am. Plans for a celebration of life in Micco FL have not been finalized and will be announced at a later time.
