Ellen Zirkle Whiting, 74, passed away on July 11th, 2012, in Melbourne, FL. She was born in Ripley, WV on March 11th, 1938 to the late Guy and Miriam Hersman (Thomas). Mrs. Whiting's twin sons, Michael Landon Zirkle and Mark Anthony Zirkle also pre-deceased her.
Mrs. Whiting retired as a blueprint controller and following retirement she enjoyed volunteering at Tropical Haven and Holmes Regional Hospital.
Ellen is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Ronald; children, Matt Zirkle, Rhonda (Tim) Johnston and Ronnie (Debbie) Whiting; 6 grandchildren and 4 adoring great - grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. She will be truly missed and in our hearts forever.
The family will hold services privately at a later date.
