IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Elizabeth Gayle
Rippin
July 29, 1940 – January 29, 2021
Elizabeth Gayle (Mount) Moore, Neal, Rippin (80) passed away peacefully January 29 th , 2021 at West Melbourne Health and Rehab in West Melbourne, Florida.
She was born to Charles "Ray" Mount and Hazel (Dulin) Mount in Lexington, Ky. July 29, 1940. Her family later moved to Beckley, West Virginia, where she graduated from Woodrow Wilson High and then went to nursing school at St. Mary's School of Nursing, she graduated as a registered nurse, a job she enjoyed many years.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and stepfather William G. Pierce, husbands Alfred "Chuck" Moore, George R. Neal, and the light of her life Lawrence "Larry" Rippin. Brother Jerry Pierce (Jerry June), sister Caroline Harris (William), Grandson Scott Youngblood, Great Granddaughter Caitlyn Cannon and Great Grandson Noah Sims.
She leaves behind her children Charles "Chuck" Moore, Marybeth Sims (Bob), Ray Moore (Christina), nine grandchildren Chris Sims (Phyllis), Amy Kittleson (Eric), Ray Sims (Kelli), David Sims (Ashley), Jessica Cannon (Rob), Gregory Sims (Jenny), Alfred "A.J." Moore (Lauren), Deanna Moore and Jennifer Moore (James) and a whole host of great children.
Gayle raised her family and lived in the same home for fifty two years, a house she called "Bonnie Circle" that she loved along with the friends she called family that lived around her. Her famous Apple Cake she shared with all was everyone's favorite. Sadly that is a recipe she took with her (measuring cups and spoons were rarely found in her kitchen).
While Gayle's home was "Bonnie Circle" all those many years, her heart was always in her "Old Kentucky Home". She often shared memories of Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins that she dearly loved. Gayle is now in her final home at peace with all those she loved that went before her.
Rest now Mom, we love you and will forever miss you.
In lieu of flowers the family requests you donate to the charity of your choice in Gayle's honor and to
visit the Davis Seawind Funeral Home website and leave a memory to share.
Arrangements to be made at a later date.
