Eleanor (Ellie) G. Rollings, 84, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Ellie was born on July 25, 1927 in Seelyville, IN to the late Raleigh Sowers and Edith Jackson. She moved to Brevard County 55 years ago and was a proud employee for 34 years at Harvey Groves. She is survived by her daughters, Genie (George) Billie, Diana (Earl) Gardner, Vicki (Dan) Reaves, and Robin Billie; son, Rodney (Rosie) Rollings; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; and special loving friend, Bud Miller. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert S. Rollings; daughter, Jennifer Rose and son, Robert S. Rollings, II.
Ellie was a true friend to all she met and the rock and strength for her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
Family will greet friends from 10 - 11AM on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home, Melbourne, FL. Funeral Services will follow at 11AM with the Rev. Dan Reaves officiating. Interment will take place in Roselawn Cemetery, Terre Haute, IN on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 10AM.
