Eleanor (Ellie) A Murphy, 85, of Melbourne, FL, stepped into Glory Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  She was born in Athol, MA, March 27, 1938 to John Lielasus and Helen Merkel Lielasus.  She was the second born of seven children.  Ellie has 4 brothers: Phil, John, George, and Richard; and 2 sisters:  Patricia and Pauline. She attended Spaulding Memorial High School.  Ellie married Donald T Murphy in 1957 and they were married for 40 years until his death in 1997.  They had four children: Suzanne Murphy Baker (Mark), Patrick Murphy (Teresa), Janet Murphy Foster, and Robert Murphy (Kim).   She had a passion for her 11 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, including the many she adopted into her family.  Her home was always a safe haven for those in need.

A celebration of life will be held Tuesday, August 22nd, 11am at Ascension Catholic Community, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935
