Edward Lawrence Warren, 89, passed away at home March 2, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Beverly Warren, Father of Alan Warren, Cheryl Hanssen, & Brian Warren; Stepfather of Deborah Kearney, Ronald Dean & Terry Field. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren: Heather, Marc; Bill, Melissa, Kristin, Cassie; Sabrina, Christy, James, Michael; John & Jen & 15 Great-Grandchildren. He was a beloved husband, Father, Grand Father & Great-Grandfather and will be truly missed by his family and friends.
Ed was born in Chicago September 8, 1931, moved to California when he was 10, lived there most of his teenage years and graduated from Las Vegas High. Ed held a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, a Masters in Mechanical Engineering and a Dr. of Law degree. He served in the Air Force and the United States Army then attended West Point. He also had an illustrious career working with engines at Pratt Whitney and Lycoming then went on to be a Rocket Scientist with NASA. He was on the team that tamed liquid hydrogen. After retiring from NASA with 30 plus years he worked for Analex as head of their Mechanical Engineering Dept. and was involved with many of the Atlas Centaur launches.
