Edward Supernaugh

Melbourne

Edward F. Supernaugh, 82, died July 7, 2012. Born in Great Barrington, Ma., he moved to Brevard County in the early 60's. Mr. Supernaugh served in the U. S. Army from 1951 to 1953. He was a born-again Christian and affiliated with the Baptist religion. He was a printer by trade, and worked at Kennedy Space Center for 25 years, where he met his wife, Ginny. They were married almost 46 years.

He is survived by his wife, 3 sons who live in the Va./D.C. area, Gary, Thomas, and Peter; 2 sisters, Jean and Sylvia, who live in Ma.; 3 stepsons from Melbourne, Michael, Scott, and Larry Whitehurst and 2 beloved dogs, Niki and Molly.

There will be no local services, but for those who would like to honor him in such a way, contributions made to Vitas Hospice of Melbourne would be gratefully appreciated. Services and burial were held in Lenox, Ma. The family wishes to thank and bless everyone at Consulate Health Care and Vitas Hospice of Melbourne for their compassionate care and loving kindness. Special thanks to Vitas nurses, Connie, Gloria, Veronica, and Hilleret.
