Edna L. Beal, 84, of Melbourne, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013 in Melbourne, FL.

Born and raised in Eau Gallie, FL, Edna was the child of the late John and Emma New-Cox. She retired from the electronics industry and was a marvelous homemaker. Edna appreciated time with her beloved family and adored the church family at Calvary Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Rick) Lovett, Joyce (Harry) Pope; and Shirley (Dexter) Nevels of Thomasville, GA; brother, Monroe (Rosie) Cox; grandchildren, Kim (Dave) Douglass, Kay Wood, Sherry Pope, Duane (Jennifer) Pope, Karen (Angel) Conde, Ashley (Karen) Nevels and Tanya (Larry) Cox; 7 great-granddaughters and 2 great-grandsons.

Edna was predeceased by her husband, Wade in 1996.

Family will receive friends from 4 PM to 7 PM on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Davis-Seawinds Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Eau Gallie Cemetery.
