Dudley Euclid Garner Jr, was born to Dudley Euclid Garner and Gertrude Adams in McMinnville, Tennessee on December 6th, 1935.  He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Tennessee Tech in 1957 and moved to the Dallas area to begin his career in the aerospace industry.   He married Sue McGuire in 1962, Sue gave birth to Cindi later that year, and Mitch was born in 1964.

Dudley and Sue moved to Palm Bay in 1963 and Dudley began working at Radiation, which later became Harris Corporation.  In 1976 he began working at Symetrics Industries, and led that company until his retirement in 1996, then served as board chairman until 2010.

Dudley and Sue were faithful members of both the First Baptist Church of Indialantic and the First Baptist Church of Melbourne.  They were very engaged in personal relationships at both churches, and their lives were marked by the number of great friends they had.  They loved to travel and consistently took road trips several times each year to visit friends and family.  After Sue's death in 2018, Dudley found a wonderful life companion in Linda Phillips.  They ate out almost every day and attended church events together.

Dudley was an incredible husband, dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, son and son-in-law, brother and brother-in-law, uncle, and friend.  He was known as Pau Pau by his family, and "Uncle Dudley" by his many nieces and nephews.  His life was defined by a great intelligence, kindness and generosity, and love for people and for his Lord.

Services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at First Baptist Church Melbourne, 3301 Dairy Road.  Doors will be open at 2PM for visitation time with the family and the service will begin at 3PM.  In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Promise in Brevard.
