Veerman, Dorothy Mae (Hodges), 89, of Viera, died peacefully on December 10, 2014. Predeceased by her husband Cornelis (Case) and her brother Wright Hodges and his wife Marcia. Survived by her nephew Rother Hodges (Karen) of Santa Fe, NM, nieces Demaris Verzulli (Steven) of Walworth, NY and Ann Pike of Sevierville, TN, several grand-nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her dear friends, the Bradley family. Dorothy was a charter member of Pineda Presbyterian Church, chartered in 1985, where she was elected to the first Class of Elders, served as the Clerk of Session and volunteer church secretary for many years, and was a member of the Pineda Presbyterian Women. Interment at the Florida Veterans Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit the family at Pineda Presbyterian Church, 5650 North Wickham Road, Palm Shores, FL 32940 at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, to be followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. Following the service there will be a time of fellowship provided by the members and friends of the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pineda Presbyterian Church.
