Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; Dorothy Lee Harper-Vance entered into God ' s Kingdom peacefully on February 1, 2022 in her family home at the age of 88.

Dorothy was born to Branson and Blanche Harper on May 29th, 1933 in Amaranth, Pennsylvania. She grew up in Black Lick, Pennsylvania where she would meet Robert Kenneth Vance at the local skating rink. They married on September 16th, 1953 and made a small move to Branson, Missouri with the Army before returning to Pennsylvania and eventually settling down in Melbourne, Florida in 1963. There they raised their four children Michael, Gregg, Wendy and Doug. She was a fiercely dedicated mom to all of her children, volunteering in the many activities that her four children were involved in.

Dorothy was a loyal servant and passionate about sharing the love of our Lord with others and volunteered countless hours at St. Pauls Methodist Church until her family made the move to Trinity Wellsprings Church (then Trinity Presbyterian) in 1981 where she would become an integral part of this church family.

Dorothy had a talent for sewing and crocheting; sewing many garments for her family and friends over the years, crocheting hundreds of blankets for family and shawls for the Shawl Prayer Ministry at Trinity Wellsprings.

Dorothy joins her beloved husband Robert Kenneth Vance in Heaven; along with mother and father, Blanche and Branson Harper; siblings Carol Harper-Hill and Dalton Harper; son-in-law James Smith and daughter-in-law Cindy Vance.

She will be missed by her children, Michael Vance, Gregg Vance, Wendy Smith and Doug Vance, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

A Celebration of Dorothy ' s Life will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00 am at Trinity Wellsprings Church. 638 S Patrick Drive, Satellite Beach, FL 32937
