Dorothy Lee Lawton Rossi of Melbourne, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026.

She was born to the late Edwin & Margaret Lawton on January 1,1928 in Wilmington, DE. Dot grew up in Newark, NY and worked for Garlock Technologies in Palmyra, NY for 10 years.

Dot married Michael Rossi on May 25, 1957 and they moved to Florida in 1959 so Mike could work at the Kennedy Space Center. Dot began her banking career at the 1st National Bank of Eau Gallie (later becoming Landmark Bank and then Bank of America) retiring as a Bank Auditor in 1984.

She loved playing bingo with her many friends at the Wickham Park Senior Center, loved to travel and in recent years enjoyed cheering for the Buffalo Bills.

She is survived by her daughter Karen (Bob) Wines of Melbourne, granddaughters Sarah (Eric) VanLandingham and Katie Wines, two great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
