Dorothy Galleo Hanna, a cherished soul who touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering love, peacefully passed away on June 21, 2026. Born on April 25 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dorothy's life was a testament to grace, strength, and compassion.
The beloved daughter of the late Charles Lawrence and Dorothy (Brueninger) Galleo, Dorothy was raised amidst a lively and loving family in the heart of Philadelphia. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Kenneth and Gerald Galleo, and her dear sisters Claire Barrett, Kathleen Dougherty, Dolores Watson, and Carol Shiver. Dorothy also mourned the loss of her cherished granddaughter, Jordan Nicole Middleton.
Dorothy was a proud graduate of Mastbaum High School, where she cultivated a pasion for learning and fostered friendships that would last a lifetime. Her professional journey led her to RCA in Deptford, New Jersey where she dedicated many years as a Customer Service Manager. Her colleagues remember her as a beacon of reliability and kindness, always ready with a warm smile and a helping hand.
Traveling was one of Dorothy's greatest joys, especially when accompanied by her sisters and her best friend, Frannie. Their adventures took them to places far and wide, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Whether exploring the world or simply savoring a quiet moment at home, Dorothy's zest for life was evident in everything she did.
Dorothy's legacy lives on through her devoted family: her loving children, Walter and Therese (Bacica) Hanna, Brenda Hanna, Kimberly Cinalli, and John Hanna. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Taylor Cinalli, Sydney Cinalli, Paige Walsh, Peyton Walsh, and Walter Hanna. Her great-granddaughter, Sadie James Cunningham , was the apple of her eye, bringing her immeasurable joy and comfort.
Dorothy is also survived by her sister, Marie Robinson, who shared a lifetime of memories and love with her. Her family was the center of her universe, and her love for them was boundless.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, Florida, for compassionate care and support provided to Dorothy in her final days. Their kindness will never be forgotten.

Dorothy will be cremated and her remains to be buried next to her Grandaughter Jordan in Manahath Cemetery in Glassboro, New Jersey. In lie of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Dorothy's name, spreading kindness and warmth in the spirit she embodied.
Rest in peace, beloved Dorothy. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your light will continue to shine brightly in the lives of all who loved you.
