Doris Berneise Tufts, 82, departed this life peacefully on Monday, April 21, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. Born on October 10, 1931 in Neeses, SC, Berneise was the beloved child of the late George and Laura Hutto-Williamson. Mrs. Tufts was raised in Neeses, SC and married the love of her life, Frank Tufts on March 4, 1950. Together they relocated to Florida, where they have been long-time residents of Brevard County. Berneise will be remembered as a beautiful and lovable wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Berneise leaves memories to be cherished by her husband, Frank H.; sons, Rev. Marlin R. of Huntsville, SC and Frank W. Tufts of Orlando, FL; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; Preceding her in death are sisters, Mary Louise Hutto of Columbia, SC, Eloise Hutto of Nesses, SC, and Miriam Vivion Hutto of Norway, SC, bother Rubin Hutto, and surviving her is her brother Wilson Hutto of West Colombia SC. Services will be held on Saturday April 26, 2014 @ 10:00 am for viewing and 11:00 am for the service and graveside Benediction at the Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church at 2610 Ninety 6 Rd, Neeses, SC 29107, (803) 247-2549. Interment will take place in Mount Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Neeses, SC.
