Donna grew up in Nutley, New Jersey, and leaves behind her two sisters, Linda Jackson and Julie Romine. Donna was very studious and spent much time in the Nutley Library. She was very athletic with a black belt in martial arts, tennis, ping pong, and golf. Donna was a member Mensa. Donna graduated Nutley High School and then joined the United States Army ROTC program attending and graduating William Paterson College with a degree in Engineering. While serving in the United States Army, Donna deployed to Korea and received Letter of Commendations for her extraordinary service. Donna received her Masters degree at Fairleigh Dickenson University and had transferred service to the United States Air Force receiving many Letters of Commendations, medals, ribbons, and plaques from her outstanding service Donna retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force.
Donna also worked as Senior Engineer at SAIC and then Lockheed Martin in Omaha, Nebraska, as Senior Engineer and Staff Manager retiring from Lockheed, Melbourne, Florida, a few years ago because of health issues.
Donna moved (and transferred with in Lockheed Martin from Omaha to Florida to be near our parents as they were aging. When our father, Don Isoldi, passed, Donna took over care of our mother, Louise Isoldi, as she had dementia. Donna loved children and took great joy in volunteering with students' science fairs, guiding and mentoring for their success. Donna loved to cook and entertain friends. She also loved shopping with her friends, looking for just the right gift for people about whom she cared.
Donna will have a full military salute burial with final commendation's for her long, dedicated service in our country's military at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, DC, on Friday, March 7th, at 9:00am.
