Don R. Yandles , 81, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 after a long illness. He was born on March 22, 1931 in Elizabethtown, OH. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, in which he served until he retired after 23 years. He and his wife, Donna, moved to Florida in 1986 where he became an active member in various organizations including: the American Legion, Moose, Elks and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his loving wife, three daughters, two sons, eleven grandchildren and one great-grand child. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten by his family and friends. The family will have services in Lawrenceburg, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Veterans Transitional Facility at 700 E. Fee Ave, Melbourne, FL, 32901.
