Diana Dolores Heady Latshaw, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Palm Bay, FL. Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 26, 1934 she was the beloved daughter of the late Paul and Dolores Coffee-Heady. Survived by her husband, Bill Latshaw; daughters, Diana Mason (Peter) and Nina Kim Kiniry; sons, Jon Kristopher Latshaw (Tracey) and Gerald Paul (Adrienne) Latshaw; brother, Paul A Heady of California, Brother-in-law Robert J. Latshaw (Janet); grandchildren, Shawn Brandon Latshaw, Jason Fazio (Whitney), Matthew Fazio, Alexandria Fazio, William Latshaw and Katrina Latshaw; two great grandchildren, Hailey Latshaw and Ella Fazio; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son, William (Billy) K. Latshaw and son-in-law, Michael J. Kiniry.
Diana grew up in California, Arizona and Hawaii. She graduated from Ukiah Union High School. After graduating, Diana moved back to Hawaii where she met her husband, Bill who was stationed at Hickam Air Force Base. They were married on Oahu and honeymooned on Kauai. They had recently celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary. While raising her children, Diana was a 4-H leader for her daughters and "bleacher mom" for her boys. Later she worked and her latest occupations were at Sam's and then Coastal Hyundai. For many years Diana also was precinct worker, Asst Pct Clerk and Precinct Clerk for Brevard County elections. Diana enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling and visiting lighthouses, gardening, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy!, Wheel of Fortune, and reading mystery stories. A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Family will greet friends from at 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. following with a memorial service at 4 pm, at Davis- Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel, 560 Montreal Ave., Melbourne, FL. Interment will follow at a later date.
