Denman B. Clark, 99, entered into rest on Friday, February 8th, 2013 in Melbourne, FL
Born on April 4, 1913 in Olean, NY, Denny was the child of the late William and Mabel Burroughs-Clark. He honorably served in the U.S. Army during WWII, completing tours in N. Africa and Italy. Denny graduated from Simmons Institute of the Funeral Service in Syracuse, NY. While living in Central Bridge, NY he owned/operated Clark Funeral Home from 1950-1965. He later retired from Beltone Hearing Aide Company in 1984. Mr. Clark was active in the Methodist Church, a volunteer for Red Cross, served on the Schoharie Central School Board, and as Justice of the Peace. For over 50 years, Denny was also a dedicated Mason and a member of the American Legion. During his free time, he enjoyed being a mentor to many people and playing the trombone in various senior bands in the Capital District.
Survivors include his cherished wife of 66 years, Shirley; daughter, Sharon Malik; 2 nieces and a 2nd cousin.
Services will be held privately and inurnment will take place in Sloansville Valley Cemetery, NY.
