Deanna K. Martino, of West Melbourne, Florida, passed away November 8, 2022. She was born Deanna Katherine Davey on January 12, 1937 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from Libbey High School in Chicago. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald P. Martino, who passed away in 2002. She was also pre-deceased by one sister, Georgia Reeder, and is survived by her other sister, Charlotte Gazic. Her other surviving family includes four children: Michael Martino, Anthony Martino (Karen), Dino Martino (Kathryn), and Laura Russo; one grandson, Anthony James Martino (Carina) and two great-grandchildren, Maverick and Isla.

Deanna retired from Cook County Government and moved to Florida in the early 2000's where she was very active in her Greenwood Village Condominium Community and enjoyed Card Games and Potluck gatherings with her neighbors. In addition Deanna volunteered for many years at the Ascension Catholic Church Thrift Store and the Holmes Regional Hospital Gift Shop. Deanna's lifelong passion and hobby was sewing and she was an accomplished seamstress. She enjoyed traveling and throughout her life made several memorable trips including Las Vegas, Door County Wisconsin, and Paris, France. One of her favorite activities was her annual tradition of making multiple kinds of cookies for Christmas and wrapping them up in decorative tins to pass out to friends and family. Her annual cookies will be missed by many and Deanna will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a smart, lively, funny and generous person and she will be remembered fondly by all.

A visitation will be held on Sunday November 27, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. at Davis Seawinds Funeral home at 560 Montreal Avenue, Melbourne, Florida, 32935 with a Catholic Prayer Service beginning at 4:00 pm.

Procession from Davis Seawinds Funeral Home will commence at 9:00 am on Monday, November 28, 2022 and shall proceed to Ascension Catholic Church at 2950 N Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935 for Catholic Memorial Mass which shall begin at 10:00 am 11/28/22.

All are welcome to attend both events.
