At the age of 98, David D. Kerr, of Melbourne, Florida, passed peacefully away at Vitas Inpatient Hospice Unit on March 10, 2024.

He was born in Nankin, Ohio to the late Frederick and Gladys Kerr on September 22, 1925.

David served in the Army Airforce during WWII.

He graduated from Ohio State University in 1954 with a major in Animal Science. He married the late Dolores J. Kerr.

David loved golfing and fishing. He walked 2 miles daily, golfed twice weekly and was cranking out 100 sit-ups daily up into his early 90s. He loved spending time with friends in and out of the neighborhood, with his golfing buddy, relatives and "the girls".

Some of us knew his addiction to the "square fish" that had become part of his diet! He always had a high tolerance to pain and so his response was always "I'm ok".

He is greatly missed by special relatives, good friends, good healthcare people, and "the girls"!

I love and miss you Dad!!

David is survived by his daughter, Diane L. Kerr and his daughter-in-law, Denise D. Downey (the girls). He is predeceased by his parents; his son, Barry Kerr; six brothers and three sisters.
