David Stanley Bogenrief, "Bogie", died Tuesday, December 26th with his family by his side.

David was born to the late Bryan and Sarah Bogenrief on June 10th, 1957 in New York City. In 1961, the Bogenrief family relocated to Melbourne, FL, the town David loved. David graduated from Eau Gallie High School in 1975 and received his BS in Engineering from the University of Central Florida in 1986.

David worked as an engineer for over 30 years, and took a lot of pride in the quality of his work. He enjoyed building and creating, and had a passion for innovative design.

David will be remembered for being a loyal friend to most everyone he met. He loved life, laughter, and creating memories with those around him. He enjoyed an active lifestyle, and carriers with him many fond memories of fishing and surfing.

David is survived by his beloved daughters, Jessica (Daryl) Byrd and Emily Bogenrief; his sister Joanne (Daniel) Shaughnessy and niece Sarah; his granddaughter Jordan Byrd; and a multitude of cherished friends.
