Cynthia Wolcott Heath, a longtime resident of Melbourne FL, passed peacefully in her sleep on July 22, 2016.
Cindy was born in 1925 in Akron OH. She attended Temple University prior to serving in the US Navy during WW II as a corpsman. After being honorably discharged at the end of the war, Cindy married Robert Heath of Crawfordsville IN. Together they raised four children.
Cindy acted and sang in many local musical productions while living in the Midwest. She often received rave reviews in local newspapers for the way she uniquely played quirky roles. Cindy loved to sing and play the piano. She was an active volunteer at Meadowlane Elementary School for many years. She also tutored many newly arrived immigrants to the United States in the English language.
She is survived by her four children: Barbara Dillery (Dan) of Melbourne FL, Jack Heath (Marilyn) of Navarre FL, Robert Heath of Memphis TN, and Patricia Cox (Randy) also from Melbourne FL.
Cindy will be interred at a later date at Cape Canaveral National Cemetary.
