Colonel Edward Miller, an Air Force pilot and aerospace engineer, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2013. Ed entered the Air Force in 1954 as an aviation cadet and retired in 1980 from Patrick Air Force Base. He leaves memories to be cherished by his beloved wife; 4 children, 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Ed's hobbies included reading, camping, square-dancing, mahjong and telling stories to his grandchildren. "In your dreams, dream a little dream of me."
Our world is smaller without his smiling face, wit, and humor. He will be deeply missed. "Oh I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth and danced the skies on laughter silvered - wings."
A Celebration of Ed's Life will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to William Childs Hospice House, 381 Medplex Parkway, Palm Bay FL 32907.
