He was also a loving brother, and the most devoted son two parents could ask for.  He was an invaluable asset to his father in his own record business, and so doting to his mother that they made sure to never miss their weekly date to the movies.

While these qualities are significant, anyone who knew him knew also that what he most self-identified as was a father.  And for me, that's who he was.  He was the best father I can even imagine having and I don't know what i'm going to do without him. I'll never forget the time he spent with me, teaching me to fish, and to be kind, and always look on the bright side - no matter how tragic a situation feels.

And so, for all the many people who are feeling the grief of his loss: try and remember the things he stood for and represented.  Try and find the smiles he would want us to be wearing, and carry on his legacy of kindness.
