Born 7/3/1974 in Joliet, Illinois

Survived by his parents, Diane and Tim Thomas of Palm Bay, Fl, and Kevin and Dawna Kavanaugh, Wilmington, Illinois, and Grandfather Jack (Louise) DeWalt of Palm Bay, FL.

Survived by his siblings , Amber (Shawn) Ingram, children Alexia and Bradley of Portland, TN,  Jeana (Maickon) Carrico, children Aislynn and Logan, of Wilmington, IL,

Chad (Shelby) Kavanaugh, children Conner and Corvin of Loudon, TN, Lora Kavanaugh, Tacoma, WA

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen DeWalt, Norma Jean and George Kavanaugh.

Chris married Rachelle Maquiniana in Feb 2019 in the Philipinnes, she joined him in the united states 7/4/2021.

Chris opened his marine business, Dockside Marine Inc, in 2002. He also owned and operated

CK Transporting Inc since 2013.

A celebration of Chris' life will be held at a later date this year, to be announced at a later date.
