Christine Marie O'Rourke, 37 went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 11, 2014 in Melbourne, FL. She was surrounded by loving family as her life peacefully came to an end after a courageous journey through cancer treatment. She was born in Orlando, FL to David and Donna (Sprinkles) Haskins on September 2, 1977. She is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel O'Rourke; children, Lane William O'Rourke and Abigail Morgan O'Rourke; parents, David and Donna Haskins; brothers, David Haskins, Jr. and Jonathan Haskins; and a host of extended family and friends. Christine was a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida. Both Christine and Daniel owned their own accounting and financial business in Sebastian and Melbourne FL. The family would like to express their gratitude to the unbelievable levels of support from family, friends, Ascension Catholic Community and other good Samaritans who just helped to renew and reinforce their trust in God and people. We thank God for putting Christine in our lives. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th from 11am to 12pm at Ascension Catholic Church, 2950 N. Harbor City Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32935 with a 12pm funeral mass to follow at Ascension Catholic Church.
