Charlotte S
Mann
Jun 29, 1920 — May 7, 2019
Melbourne
Charlotte Foxman Mann passed away gently on May 7, 2019. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 29, 1920. She grew up with her sisters, Ella and Annette. She was an accomplished dancer and well known for her work ethic. She moved to Miami Beach, FL as a young woman and married Alan Tremaine Mann. They were blessed with two boys, Michael and Paul.
Charlotte worked for the City of Miami Beach until her retirement. She generously donated her time to various charitable organizations and ran the Mt. Cedar Sinai Hospital thrift shop for many years. Charlotte was well known for her humor and vivacious social personality; and was an extremely lucky lover of the slot machines! After being widowed, she was lucky enough to find love again. She shared 20 years with her beloved beau, Leo Friedland.
In 2005, she moved to Melbourne Beach to be closer to her family. She is survived by her sister
Annette, her sons Paul and Michael, daughter-in-law Pia, her 3 grand children Shannon, Courtney and
David, as well as her great-grandchildren Alexandra and Victoria.
As was her wish, a private family gathering will be held to celebrate the life of this exemplary woman.
