Military wife, wonderful mother, world traveler and faithful companion, Carol Ann Jeter, began her final journey on Thursday, August 21, 2014. Preceded her in this journey were her loving parents, John and Johnnie McCutchen; brothers, Bobby, Frank, and Michael. Carol was a true Texas Irish lady, born in San Antonio, TX on July 5, 1939. Carolyn leaves memories to be cherished by her daughters, Judith, Tamara and Renee; brother, Tommy MuCutchen; 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and her husband of 58 years, Bob who loves her beyond compare. As a proud American, Carol devoted much of her life, caring for her children and being supportive to her husband's military career, serving in Germany (3 Tours), Okinawa and the Philippines, as well as Texas, Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. She appreciated her life and was happiest when Bob served as Manager of Patrick AFB Marina/Yacht Club. Along her life journey, Carol made many friends, who she remembered with fondness and love. She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Family will greet friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 28th at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home in Melbourne with a funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to your local humane society.
