In Loving Memory of Carolyn (Davis) Hutson

Carolyn (Davis) Hutson, age 87, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, in Melbourne, Florida. She was born on April 1, 1938, in Doddridge County, West Virginia, where she was raised on a family farm and attended Doddridge County High School.

Carolyn devoted her life to her family as a loving wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She spent more than three decades working for McGraw-Hill in New Jersey before retiring to Melbourne, Florida, where she enjoyed mild winters and frequent visits from family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Dale Hutson; her parents, Edna Davis and Lawrence "Tim" Davis; and her grandson, Jason Hutson.

Carolyn is survived by her son, Alan Hutson; daughters Teresa Fox and Jill Copeland (husband Will); grandchildren Carrie Lynn, David, Dalynne, Joanna, Keith, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren Mason, Caleigh, Joshua, Riley, Coraline, Saylee, Emily, Amelia, Dean, Jack, and Ellie.

Carolyn will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
