Palm Bay

Carole J. Salvato, 68, joined our Heavenly Father on July 17th, 2012, in Palm Bay, FL. She was born in Syracuse, NY on September 2nd, 1943 to the late Clyde Wood and Hazel Jefferies. Carole was very giving of her time and caring, and volunteered extensively for Health First Auxiliary at Holmes Regional Medical Center and Palm Bay Hospital. A member since October 20, 2006, Carole accrued 5,843 hours of volunteer time at the A & D Information Desks, and in the CCICU department before her passing. More recently, she supervised the Health First fundraising efforts in 2011 and 2012 and was president elect of the Auxiliary organization. She also participated in the Mended Hearts program. A devoted Christian, she was a member of the congregation at Covenant Presbyterian Church and participated regularly in their bible study.
Carole is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Sal; her son, James D. and number of cousins and other extended family. She also leaves behind Asti, her 15 month old Miniature Schnauzer. A Celebration of Carole's Life will be held at Holmes Regional Medical Center in the Auditorium, Sunday, August 5, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.
